IMPLEMENTATION & VALUE POINT of RFID Tire Inspection Solution

  • Tire management remains one of the top considerations for fleet managers, both in terms of safety and costs. According to the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board, an average of 33,000 accidents occur annually because of tires.

  • The number of tires per large truck is generally between 10-20, so even if one or two tires are damaged, it can still drive normally in a short period of time. This will cause serious safety hazards to the truck driver.

  • Place the BT14 Tag on the inside of each tire on your truck. Each tag has a unique ID number that matches the truck. When the truck enters the parking lot, the gateway is used to read the tag, and the read data is sent through the gateway. The data is sent to the system background for matching, and you can know whether there are missing tires. When the tag ID number that the truck should match is missing, the system will issue an early warning to remind the driver that the truck is missing tires.

  • In addition, the tag can also record the life of the tire. As the tire age or kilometers increases, it will wear out, such as cracks, bulges, missing rubber, etc. If you continue to drive, it will easily lead to a tire blowout and cause danger. Tire tags can record data at each stage of the tire's manufacturing-factory-use (including repair, retreading)-scrap process, and can be read and consulted by managers at any time, so that tires that need to be scrapped can be processed in a timely manner.

  • Using tire labels can also reduce tire quality control costs. Write the tire serial number, production date, manufacturer code and other information in the label. If a certain batch of tires has quality problems, it can be traced and the recall cost can be reduced.
