Improve the accuracy and efficiency of hazardous waste tracking by automating the process of data collection.
RFID technology can provide greater transparency and accountability throughout the hazardous waste management process.
RFID can help to reduce the risk of errors and non-compliance with hazardous waste regulations by providing real-time waste tracking of hazardous waste containers.
Using RFID can help to increase the safety and security of hazardous waste management by providing real-time tracking of hazardous waste containers.

Hazardous waste is ubiquitous across almost any industry and sector and that’s why there is a need to provide appropriate traceability solutions that protect the environment and the general public from the dangers it poses.
For example, the construction and manufacturing industries generate a large amount of hazardous waste, often through construction chemicals, by-products from electronic manufacturing or through dangerous solvents. Even industries that are more often considered to be safe, such as healthcare and agriculture, also deal with large quantities of hazardous waste, from pesticides and herbicides to pharmaceutical and sharps waste.
Embed RFID tags in containers storing hazardous waste, and use readers and writers to write container information, such as time, waste type, etc. Multiple RFID readers are placed on the waste processing channels. When containers with RFID tags pass by, data is automatically collected to ensure the normal dumping of hazardous wastes. If hazardous waste is not disposed of within the correct time, the system will automatically sound an alarm to prompt for timely disposal.
