RFID technology background: RFID technology is a comprehensive self-identification technology based on carrier, coding, identification, communication and other technologies. RFID technology is mainly a non-contact information transfer using the spatial coupling of radio frequency signals. Different items can transfer different information to achieve automatic identification. Compared with other similar technologies, RFID technology has the characteristics of large storage capacity, fast reading speed, long read and write distance, strong penetration, long service life, and good environmental adaptability. An RFID system should have three basic components, an RFID tag, several RFID readers, and a back-end computer. The RFID tag is attached to the object and sends out a radio frequency signal. The RFID reader realizes the collection and return of the tag information. The read information is transmitted to the background computer. The background computer analyzes the information and manages the normal operation of the entire label system. The RFID technology is applied to the medical record tracking system, mainly by attaching electronic tags to each medical record, installing readers in the clinical department and the various departments of the medical record room, and connecting the back-end computer to the medical record tracking system port. Managers can accurately check the status and location of the medical record process through the tracer system to confirm the filing time.

1. Medical record recovery

After each medical record of the department passed the first-level quality control of the department, the general nurse put an RFID electronic tag and sent it to the medical record room from the property. The medical records are sent to a medical record recovery room equipped with an RFID reader. The medical records manager registers the recovered medical records and compares them with the patient information of the hospital on the same day to obtain the list of undocumented medical records and the location of the department where the medical records are located. After the recovery is completed, the administrator can uniformly identify the medical record information in the medical record tracking system as an archived state.

2. Disease code

After the medical records are recovered, the staff of the coding team will carry out disease coding. Install an RFID reader near the office or office computer of the coding team. When the coder files the medical records to the scope of the work place, the RFID reader can not only trace the medical records into the disease catalogue link, but even the specific location. The coder recognizes by ID and judges whether the medical records that need to be cataloged that day have been filed in the medical records room, so as to effectively supervise the medical records in a timely manner. After the coder's cataloging is completed, the medical record status can be identified as a coded status with one click.

3. Medical record quality control

The coder transfers the coded completed medical records to the quality control staff. The medical records pass the quality control office with a reader. The quality control staff can first check whether the transferred medical records match the number of medical records at the hospital on the day of arrival. If they do not match, check the medical records through the tracking system. Location and work status, then perform quality control work on the medical record, and identify the medical record status information.

4. Medical record feedback

After finishing and binding the medical records, some medical records need to be placed in the feedback box of the medical record reading room due to missing signatures, missing items, etc. The medical records manager can form a circulation record of the feedback medical records through the RFID reader installed in the reading room. Because the feedback of medical records requires clinical medical staff to make corrections, it is easy to be taken to the reading room or even outside the medical records room. The medical records management staff can monitor the feedback of the medical records when they are taken out of the reading room through the background data in order to find out where the medical records are going.

5. Medical records circulation

Medical personnel of clinical departments and other medical technology departments borrow and return medical records. Through the unified identification of RFID on medical records, they are entered into loan departments, borrowers, and related reasons for borrowing. The system automatically generates records of borrowing and returning medical records.

6. medical records overdue reminder

When the medical records of the hospital were not filed in the medical records room, three days for hospitalized patients and seven days for dead patients, the medical record tracking system connected to the RFID back-end computer port was set to be unfiled. After the doctor's workstation, the system will pop up a reminder message of undocumented medical records. The reminder will also pop up when the administrator logs on the tracking system. Borrow the medical records and set a weekly return reminder. When the medical records manager logs into the medical record tracking system, the system will pop up a non-return reminder message to facilitate the medical records manager to read out the borrower's return of the medical records in a timely manner.
