China-led, four tire RFID international standards officially released
The four international standards for RFID electronic tags for tires, led by China Soft Control Co., Ltd., and drafted by many countries, units, and experts, were released on April 20, 2020, and became the official international standard. The four standards are: ISO 20909: 2019 Radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags, ISO 20910: 2019 Coding for radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags, ISO 20911: 2020 Radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags-Tyre attachment classification , ISO 20912: 2020 Conformance test methods for RFID enabled tyres.
Four international standards for RFID electronic tags for tires were formally established in October 2015. They were formulated by the WG10 "RFID tyre tags" working group set up by the International Organization for Standardization ISO / TC31 (International Standardization Technical Committee for Tires, Rims and Valves) The working group is composed of more than 60 experts from relevant enterprises in China, France, Italy, the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Finland, Canada, Belgium, Thailand, the Netherlands, Austria, the United Arab Emirates and other countries. From October 2015 to the present, the WG10 working group has held 8 global working meetings in Brussels, Sanya, Marseille, Seattle, Rome, Tokyo, Greenville, Qingdao and other places, and several working group network meetings to discuss standard content and solve each Fang disagrees that the four international standards have completed CD (committee stage) voting, DIS (draft international standard) voting, and FDIS (final international standard draft) voting, respectively, and finally formed a unified opinion. Following the release of two international standards, ISO 20909: 2019 Radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags and ISO 20910: 2019 Coding for radio frequency identification (RFID) tyre tags, in August 2019, ISO 20911: 2020 Radio frequency identification (RFID) The two standards, tyre tags-Tyre attachment classification, ISO 20912: 2020 Conformance test methods for RFID enabled tyres, were published on April 20, 2020. At present, all four international standards for RFID electronic tags for tires undertaken by the ISO / TC31 / WG10 working group have been published.
The four international standards for tire RFID tags are the first batch of international standards established and released in ISO by the Chinese tire industry. The release of these four international standards will greatly enhance the influence of the Chinese tire industry on the international tire industry and contribute to the technological progress of the global tire industry. The four international standards represent the development trend of tire technology, and present the tire technology trend to the global tire industry in the form of international standards. At the same time, in the process of drafting these four international standards, the actual needs of users have been fully taken into consideration, and the current research and development levels and test conditions of RFID tires at home and abroad are fully combined to ensure the advancement of technology while lowering the barrier to entry. Provides standard reference for product requirements, coding methods, application methods and experimental methods. The release of four international standards for tire RFID electronic tags will effectively promote the healthy and orderly development of RFID tire technology and promote the continuous advancement of industry technology.
