1 Background

The Shengli Oilfield Material Supply System is the main channel for oilfield material supply. The annual purchase capital exceeds 10 billion yuan, which is an important part of ensuring oilfield production and promoting the overall operation efficiency of the oilfield. Therefore, actively exploring the application of the Internet of Things technology in the management of material supply, exploring the full life cycle management of oilfield materials, and the dynamic management of the entire process are not only the need to strengthen the standardization of the logistics operation of the material system, but also the improvement of the informationization of oilfield material management. need.


With the continuous expansion of the real oil field logistics scale, the types and quantities of materials continue to increase, and the supply management of materials is more complicated and difficult. In recent years, the management of oilfield materials has been gradually deepened. The professional division of materials supply and process operation have promoted the healthy operation of the internal supply chain from demand plan reporting to material distribution to the production site; the standardization system for oilfield storage and distribution is gradually improving; Shengli Oilfield's material supply management information system, bar code, GPS and other technologies have been partially applied, gradually improving the application level of Internet of Things technology in material procurement and supply, and achieving the basic conditions for the entire process and full life cycle management of oilfield materials.


2 Current problems


Taking Sinopec Group's “Four Chemicals” construction as the standard, there are still significant problems and deficiencies in the material supply system of Shengli Oilfield, which are mainly reflected in the following aspects.


2.1 The coordination of oilfield materials management is not strong

The full life cycle management of oilfield materials has not yet been formed, the information of material circulation is lack of inheritance and sharing, the degree of software integration is not high, and the coordination is not strong. The deep-level business integration and operation integration between existing systems are still very lacking. The data exchange between systems lacks unified standards, the data transmission is not smooth, and the information lacks inheritance and sharing.

2.2 Management decision-making lacks strong support

At present, the application of technology and information system, due to the time lag of the statistical data of each link, causes the confusion of the statistical data in the time sequence. It is impossible to perform systematic data analysis and effectively provide accurate and reliable basis for management decision-making.

2.3 Not paying enough attention to the application of new technologies in the Internet of Things

The supply of materials in the oil field has little application to the Internet of Things and information technology such as radio frequency (RFID) technology, barcodes, and intelligent logistics. With the rapid development of mobile Internet and intelligent terminals, daily business has been extended to mobile platforms to improve logistics efficiency. It has become an inevitable trend for enterprises to further enhance the application level of the Internet of Things. There is still a lack of oilfield material management applications in this field.


3 RFID-based material management of Shengli Oilfield

The material system of Shengli Oilfield needs to focus on material lifecycle management and the application of Internet of Things technology, and build a powerful information platform to solve the current problems and achieve its own structural optimization.


3.1 Integration of oilfield material management


The construction of the platform will integrate oilfield materials from demand to consumption, recovery and asset management into a unified management category, and realize cross-department, cross-industry and cross-regional applications.


Inter-departmental: Material management involves both the material demand side and the procurement and supply side, as well as the asset management department, supervision and inspection, production management, technical supervision and other departments. Through the establishment of an integrated platform for oilfield material management systems, material supply information can be fully inherited and shared.


Cross-industry: The industry involved in the project covers all oilfield industries, including drilling, logging, logging, exploration, as well as oil recovery, operations, and logistics assistance. The implementation of the project will eventually achieve the full coverage of the management of the materials needed by various industries in the oil field.


Cross-regional: The project design is based on the flow of materials. As long as all oilfield unified shopping resources enter the management system, whether it is the old eastern area or the western new area, or even the overseas market, they are all included in unified management. Wherever the material supply is achieved, the material and asset management are tracked.


3.2 Realize full-cycle and full-process management of oilfield materials


The design of the platform starts with the production unit presenting the material requirements to form a demand plan, and the material supply department needs balance, plan formation, bidding, procurement, warehousing, and distribution until each cost center completes consumption. The material forming the asset enters the asset management process until it is scrapped, and the recyclable material enters the recycling process for reuse. Through the whole process management, the whole life cycle management of oilfield materials is realized.


4 Design of Shengli Oilfield Material Lifecycle Management Platform


4.1 Multi-system integration of material management platform


The application of information technology in oilfield material systems has been for many years. ① The material management information system has been established. Based on the application of ERP system, the information system system for supplier management and material coding management has been gradually realized, and the main link of material supply management has been informatized. ②The construction of the basic platform based on the Internet of Things technology has been tried, and the construction of the basic platform for information application at the level of data collection and logistics operations has been gradually completed. Relying on this basic platform, it has straightened out the problem of cross-departmental logistics information sharing, and has initially realized coordinated logistics operations.


On the basis of the existing, the design of the plan needs to integrate the current application of the Internet of Things technology required for oilfield material management at the current stage, to achieve maximum technology integration and extended application.


4.2 Design of oilfield materials full life cycle management system


The full life cycle management of oilfield materials requires a strong supporting information system. By building a multi-layer, real-time, visual, and standardized comprehensive material management system for the entire oilfield, business collaboration, information integration, and process visualization of oilfield material management and asset management are realized. .

Eventually, through the application and deepening of the platform, the overall oilfield material management level was continuously improved.
