Magnetic cabinet door open/close sensoring RFID tag is a specialized RFID tag that incorporates magnetic sensors to detect the open or closed status of a cabinet door (or any similar object) and transmit this information using RFID technology. These tags are designed for applications where monitoring the status of cabinet doors or other closures is essential. Here's how they typically work:
1. RFID Technology: RFID sensor tag is made up of two separate parts: the sensor and the trigger. When you hold the Sensor and Trigger together then pull them apart,The sensor detects changes in the magnetic field.
2. Magnetic Sensors: The tag is equipped with magnetic sensors or reed switches. These sensors can detect the presence or absence of a magnetic field, which changes when a magnetic door sensor is opened or closed.
3. Door Status Detection:
When the cabinet door is closed, the magnetic field keeps the sensors in a particular state. When the door is opened, the magnetic field changes, and the sensors detect this change.
4. Data Transmission: The RFID tag communicates this change in status (open or closed)and temperature to an RFID reader wirelessly using radio waves. The reader can then collect and process this data.
For your RFID Sensor Tag installation to work as designed, it's important to remember that:
1.You can mount your Contact Sensor around almost any part of your door or window.
2.The space between the Contact Sensor and the trigger must be 1 inch or less.
3.The sensor is metal-resistant, so don't be too careful about metal door frames causing interference to the sensor .
4.The temperature measurement range of the sensor is -40℃ - 85℃
