Well-known retailers choose RFID solutions

Tillys is a well-known retailer headquartered in Irvine, California, USA, focusing on providing casual clothing, footwear and accessories for young consumers. Tillys is deeply involved in sports and fashion culture, and is committed to becoming an ideal choice for young consumers who pursue personalized dressing and active lifestyles. Its brand style combines street trends and outdoor sports elements to meet the dual needs of young people for fashion and functionality.

Recently, Tillys announced an important cooperation with Nedap, a global leader in RFID solutions. The two parties will jointly deploy Nedap's iD cloud solution, aiming to achieve a comprehensive upgrade of inventory management through RFID technology and bring consumers an unprecedented shopping experience.

Starting from the second quarter of 2025, Tillys will fully deploy Nedap's iD cloud solution. The solution uses RFID technology to achieve full product tracking from distribution centers to store shelves, ensuring the accuracy and real-time nature of inventory. Through the iD Cloud platform, Tillys can grasp the specific location and status of each product in real time, thereby effectively reducing out-of-stock situations and improving customer satisfaction.

The core goal of this cooperation is to improve inventory accuracy and optimize omni-channel strategies. Tillys hopes to integrate inventory data from physical stores, e-commerce platforms and mobile applications through the iD Cloud solution to achieve seamless inventory management. This will not only help improve operational efficiency, but also provide consumers with a more convenient and personalized shopping experience. For example, customers can place orders through mobile applications at home and choose to pick up the goods at a nearby physical store to enjoy a seamless shopping journey.

For Tillys, the benefits of this cooperation are obvious. First, by improving inventory accuracy, RFID can ensure that the shelves always have the goods that customers need, thereby improving the shopping experience. Secondly, the real-time data insights of the iD Cloud solution help Tillys optimize operational processes and reduce operating costs. Finally, this cooperation also lays the foundation for Tillys' long-term sustainable development. Through data-driven decision-making tools, Tilly can better respond to market changes and achieve sustained growth.
